Toffees will finally get to enjoy a midweek Cup game at Goodison Park as Everton were handed a home fixture against Norwich City in the Fourth Round of the Capital One Cup. While in no way an easy task as the Canaries have been doing very decently in the Premier League, and are currently in 11th place, things could have been much worse with Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and in-form Leicester City all through as well. Fixtures are to be played on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th October.
The draw shook out pretty well for most of the bigger teams as none of the big names were paired together. As far as Blues are concerned, they will be happy that they will not have to deal with Crystal Palace in this round, a team that they have struggled to beat in recent times.
Norwich City are celebrating a return to the Premier League after relegation in the 2013-14 season, which is the last time the Blues played against them. The Canaries were formed in 1907, and play at Carrow Road. They have won the League Cup (currently the Capital One Cup) twice in their history. which is two times more than Everton have managed.
League
Football League Second Division (Level 2)
Football League Third Division (Level 3)

The history between the two clubs has been largely uneventful. with Everton losing just once in this century.
