It's finally back! After the summer layoff, the Premier League starts back up this weekend. First up for Everton, newly promoted Watford. There is much to be excited about as the Toffees enter the season. So far there have been a couple of new signings in Tom Cleverly and Gerard Deulofeu and a couple of key contract extensions; most recently with James McCarthy and Kevin Mirallas. The manager has also stated that the club plans on purchasing a few additional players as well.

Roberto Martinez is optimistic about the season and it should be of interest to see who he starts this week. Note that the lineup may not have the natural starters in every spot due to an early run in with the injury bug.

In the Royal Blue Mersey preseason writer predictions, Watford was heavily referenced in each writer's bottom three. There is always reason to be aware of pitfalls against promoted teams early on (Leicester City last year anyone?) but it bodes well that Everton will be playing in front of a friendly crowd.

Below you can find how to watch or listen to the match. Also, you can get ready for the match by checking out Brian's match preview.
