Everton return to training ahead of 2015-16 season

Everton are back!

Just over six weeks (43 days to be exact) after the final game of last season, the Everton players have reported for duty at Finch Farm ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.

Tom Cleverley will train with his new teammates for the first time since joining on a free transfer from Man Utd while fellow summer signing Gerard Deulofeu will be familiar face after his loan spell two years ago.

The players will train at Finch Farm this week before the first pre-season friendly of the summer against League One Swindon Town on Saturday.

The squad will then fly out to Singapore to compete in the Barclays Asia Trophy alongside Stoke and Arsenal before returning to England on July 19.

Then follows a mini of tour of Scotland taking in matches against Premiership sides Hearts and Dundee. The pre-season schedule is rounded off against Leeds Utd and Villarreal ahead of the big kick-off against Watford on August 8.
