Everton Unveil 15/16 Third Kit

Sticking with the club's recent history of having some non-traditional third kits; Everton now gives us the army/hunter strip.

Everton unveiled their new third kit for the 2014-2015 campaign. The strip is a significant departure from last year's "blackberry" white and purple outfit and the previous year's Nike blue and white combo. Now we get to look forward to seeing the military or hunting - take your pick - uniform.

From photos released by both the club and Umbro, the shirt will be a shade of forest green. The crest, Umbro logo and Chang logo will all be in orange and there will be a black band at the bottom. The shorts will be black with green highlights at the bottom with the crest and logo in orange. The socks will be green with a black band at the top and the Umbro logo in green again.

Everton also procured the services of Marvel Comic's artist and Evertonian Will Sliney to create a comic book illustration of manager Roberto Martinez and several key players wearing the kit. Included in the photo are Ross BarkleyRomelu Lukaku, Gerard Deulofeu, Tom Cleverly and Leighton Baines.

The new kit will be worn for the first time when Everton take on Southampton away at St. Mary's on Saturday, August 15th.

It can be pre-ordered starting on Monday, August 3rd and it will be available for immediate purchase on August 26th.
