After Sunday's 3-1 victory over Heart of Midlothian the Blues remain in Scotland and will head over to Dundee to take on the aptly named Dundee FC. This marks Everton's second match against a SPL club and the third from the last of their preseason friendlies. Up next for the Toffees is Leeds United on August 1st and then Duncan Ferguson's testimonial the following day against Villarreal.
The match against the Scottish side will give Roberto Martinez more opportunities to work with his squad and asses different players ahead of the season. Martinez's men should get quite a boost as both Leighton Baines and Bryan Oviedo seem to be back at full strength, putting good displays in at Hearts after being out with injuries. Baines missed the end of last season with an ankle injury that required surgery. He later admitted that it had been bothering him for quite a while. Oviedo is returning from a broken foot that he sustained during training earlier this year.
