Everton has moved on to the final of the Barclays Asia trophy after taking down Stoke City in the first match. The Toffees had to go all the way to penalties to beat the Potters with Everton taking the match 5-4. Arsenal on the other hand easily handled the Singapore Select XI 4-0.

Everton will have their hands full with the FA Cup winners. Arsenal held some of their premier players out of their first match so it's definitely possible that we will see the likes of Petr Cech, Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny on Saturday. Everton played their senior players against Stoke and manager Roberto Martinez could use this as an opportunity to get some of the younger players some game time against a tough opponent. Injuries to James McCarthy and Steven Pienaar may also pave the way for the youngsters.
