Tim Devine has confirmed his intention to leave his role as Academy Director at Everton.

Devine will remain in the role until a replacement is found and will assist with the recruitment process.

Devine replaced Alan Irvine last November after previously working as Head of Academy Management but is now set to leave after less than a year in the role.

Devine said:

"The decision I’ve made is for personal reasons and I’ve done so with a heavy heart because this is a great club with great people and I’m very proud to be a part of it.

"Working with the manager, the senior executive team, all of the Academy staff and all of the staff throughout the Club has been terrific and I’ve had great support from everyone.

"But this is right for me and it’s right for the Football Club. Obviously, I will continue to carry out my role until such time as a successor is appointed."
