Last week Everton convincingly pushed themselves through to the round of sixteen in the Europa League. They followed up with another disappointing display by losing away to Arsenal. With just six points separating the Toffees from a relegation spot, it's time to get the z-car into gear. This week, the club travels to take on tenth place Stoke City who are coming off wins against Aston Villa and Hull City. Prior to those wins, they were crushed 4-1 each by Blackburn (FA Cup) and Manchester City.
With a Europa League spot for next season up for grabs, don't expect the Potters to lay back. Everton though should be feeling the heat from the bottom three below and must come out motivated and ready to push the ball forward. All of that pretty passing around the pitch will be for naught if they can't get it to their attackers.
