Francisco Junior and George Green have both left Everton on loan to gain experience of regular first-team football.
Junior has joined League One side Port Vale while Green has joined near neighbours Tranmere of League Two, both until the end of the season.
Junior began his career with Benfica and joined Everton on a free transfer in February 2012 after a short spell with Manchester City.
However, he was only made one first-team appearance to date in the disastrous League Cup defeat to Leeds in September of that year.
He has since been sent out on loan to Norwegian side Stromsgodset and Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem. The 23-year-old still has a year to run on his deal at Goodison but is unlikely to have a long-term future with the club.
Teenager Green joined Everton from Bradford as a 15-year-old on October 2011 in a deal that is believed to be worth up to £2million depending on his progress.
Green is a regular for the Under-18 side but has also featured for the Under-21s and England Under-17s. He has yet to make a senior appearance but has now been plunged into at League Two relegation battle. Sink or swim time George!
