Everton managed to come back and win after conceding an early goal to Dynamo Kiev in the first match of the Europa League Round of 16. Here is how each player rated:

Tim Howard - 7 Solid display, couldn't be faulted for the goal.

Seamus Coleman - 6 Had trouble creating chances offensively, but did his best to get forward in dangerous areas.

Antolin Alcaraz - 6 Managed two decent looking shots, but was responsible for a horrible backpass and some shoddy defending.

Phil Jagielka - 7 Played well despite missing John Stones next to him.

Luke Garbutt - 6 Looking better the more games he gets under his belt.

Gareth Barry - 7 Barry and McCarthy combined to lock down the defensive midfield for the Blues.

James McCarthy - 7 McCarthy's engine never stops. Solid game for the Irishman.

Ross Barkley - 5 Looked better later in his game, but was the most responsible for the goal.

Kevin Mirallas - 5 Not too much to worry about, but didn't play a big part and was substituted in the 63rd minute. Not the Belgian's best showing.

Steven Naismith - 8 Looked like the only Everton player interested early, then scored the equalizer. A great game for Naismith.

Romelu Lukaku - 9 Lukaku showed his strength on the Naismith goal then kept his composure for the winner. Sometimes it is hard to believe he is so young.

Arouna Kone - 7 Kone came on in the 63rd minute and was especially disruptive right after he was introduced.

Leon Osman - 8 Only played about 20 minutes but won the penalty that won the game.
