Bryan Oviedo says the side must focus on the upcoming game against Chelsea, and forget the Liverpool derby.
The Blues drew 0-0 in Saturdays fixture against the Reds, with a solid defensive display gaining them their third clean sheet in a row following the draw with West Brom and win over Crystal Palace.
Only Jordan Ibe's strike against the post threatened to breach the Joel Robles goal, and now Oviedo says the side must focus on their upcoming fixture against Jose Mourinho's side and look to take all three points.
"We now need to focus on a big game at Chelsea," he told evertontv.
"We need to try to recover and be ready for the next game. The most important thing for us is to go to Stamford Bridge and win points."
Despite the hard earned point against an in-form Liverpool, the Costa Rican defender was left frustrated that his side couldn't snatch all three points when Seamus Coleman was denied by a save from Simon Mignolet.
"It was a little disappointing because of course we wanted to win the game," he added.
"Personally I wasn't happy with a draw because I wanted the win. We can use that game to change the result. It will be a very good game against Chelsea and we have a big opportunity to pick up a win against them."
