With very little time to recover from an emotional and goalless Merseyside Derby, Everton are faced with the daunting task of traveling to London to take on first-place Chelsea.
The last time Chelsea and Everton met, Jose Mourinho's team scored twice in the opening three minutes on the way to a 6-3 thrashing of Roberto Martinez's men at Goodison Park.
The man who let six goals pass in that match, Tim Howard, may be fit to start for the Toffees. The good news for Evertonians is that Diego Costa, responsible for two goals back in August, is serving the third of a three-match ban.
