David Henen will join Fleetwood Town of League One on a one-month loan according to reports from the Liverpool Echo. Henen, who has been plying his trade with the Everton U-21 side, is unlikely to see first team minutes anytime soon, making his loan a sensible option.
The Belgian international has already scored three goals with the U-21 set up this season and will likely see heavy minutes on loan as Fleetwood Town look to crawl their way out of the relegation zone.
If Henen is able to impress during his loan spell, perhaps he could find his way into the first team if any of the current forwards go down with injuries. As it stands now, he would have to displace the likes of Gerard Deulofeu, Kevin Mirallas, Aaron Lennon and several others. Despite Roberto Martinez's willingness to give young players a shot, the manager would be hard pressed to select Henen over the current crop of wingers and forwards.
