Everton Injuries
Seamus Coleman is back, John Stones is back, now all we need is Leighton Baines to get healthy and Everton's defensive corps will be at full health again. Roberto Martinez would only say that Baines would be back "soon" so it is still unclear when exactly we will see the left back start for the Toffees. Tom Cleverley will be in contention to return to the first team as he appears to have healed from the ankle injured sustained against Tottenham. I wouldn't bet on the midfielder starting, but he is a good bet to make the bench. Steven Pienaar (remember him?) is close to a return, but is considered unlikely to play this week. The South African has been battling injury for a significant stretch of time, but may finally be past it. Tony Hibbert and Muhamed Besic will also be out for the Arsenal match.
Arsenal Injuries
Former Everton midfielder, Mikel Arteta will miss Saturday's clash after suffering an ankle injury in training. Arsenal could also be without Aaron Ramsey who picked up a knock while away with Wales during the international break. Given that Ramsey is suffering from a hamstring injury, it is quite possible that he will not start for the Gunners this week and could be ruled out altogether,. Goalkeeper David Ospina will also not be with the team this week as he recovers from a shoulder injury suffered during the international break. With the addition of Petr Cech, Ospina was unlikely to play anyway.
