Everton have been handed a big injury boost ahead of this weekend's clash with Manchester United, with duo John Stones and Seamus Coleman set to return.
Stones has been absent with a knee injury, meaning he has missed the last two games against West Brom and Liverpool, as well as having to pull out of the England squad during the international break.
He has now seemingly recovered from that injury though, and looks set to return against Louis van Gaal's side this weekend, with Martinez saying he is ‘medically ready' for the game.
"I think he should be ready. Remember that John has been having a lot of quality work at Finch Farm and it will be a matter of just getting that match fitness.
"We have still got very three important days ahead of that fixture in terms of preparation so we'll get a better idea on Friday of where John is.
"I would say medically he is ready now. He's been joining the group and from a medical point of view I don't think there is a concern or worry."
The Blues will also be boosted by the return of full back Seamus Coleman to side after he featured for the Republic of Ireland on Sunday.
The defender has also been absent for several weeks, but returned to the international fold for their 2-1 loss to Poland last weekend.
The right back returning will be a particular boost for Martinez, with his attacking flair and defensive solidity having been sorely missed from the side while he has been out injured.
