Four Everton players called up by England

Phil Jagielka, John Stones and Ross Barkley have all been called up by England boss Roy Hodgson for their final two Euro 2016 qualifiers.

England face Estonia at Wembley on Friday October 9 and before a trip Lithuania on Monday, October 12. The Three Lions are already assured of their place at next summer's tournament in France after winning all eight of their qualifying games so far.

Barkley grabbed his first international goal during the last international break in England's 6-0 win against San Marino, a victory that assured their place at Euro 2016.

Leighton Baines and Tom Cleverley miss out on the squad as they continue to recover from injury.

Meanwhile Brendan Galloway has been rewarded for his fine start to the season with a call-up to the England U21 squad for a European qualifier with Kazahkstan later this month.

The 19-year-old only made his senior debut for Everton at the end of last season but has been a regular this campaign in the absence of the injured Baines.

A first appearance for England U21s at Coventry's Ricoh Arena on October 13 would be just rewards for the former MK Dons youngster's impressive form.
