talkSport are reporting that Everton missed out on a deal for Galatasaray winger Bruma.
Roberto Martinez was apparently keen on a season long loan deal for the 19 year old winger, who broke in to the Turkish side last season.
However, his agent Marco Kirdemir has revealed that Galatasaray president Unal Aysal was not prepared to loan him out, making it clear that he would only consider bids for a permanent deal.
The story reports that Everton were competing with Monaco for the youngsters' signature, with Sunderland close to completing a deal last January. His agent however, thinks the 19 year old will soon make a switch to English football.
He made just seven appearances in his maiden season in Turkey, and is set to feature in the Champions League this year. He was linked with a move to Everton earlier in the summer and his lack of availability on loan is sure to have pushed ahead the eventual signing of Christian Atsu from Chelsea.
