20-year-old Everton and England midfielder Ross Barkley is again the subject of transfer rumors, with Manchester City targeting the youngster for a reported £30 million in next year's offseason.
Everton have denied the rumors, maintaining that he will remain with the club and will not be allowed to leave. Barkley signed a four-year deal with Everton only this past summer, which has him earning £65,000 a week from the Blues.

Barkley is no stranger to transfer rumors. He has been linked with Chelsea and both Manchester United and Manchester City in the past. When rumors swirled of a pre-World Cup transfer, Everton put a £50 million price tag on the young player, driving away any potential suitors.
While Roberto Martinez seems poised to keep Barkley with the club, that may become increasingly difficult with demand for the young player growing.
