An update on injuries before Wolfsburg

Eto'o, Distin, and Hibbert all eye returns.

Roberto Martinez had good news for Evertonians in his press conference Wednesday, disclosing that Samuel Eto'o should be fit to play in the Europa League match against Wolfsburg.

Sylvain Distin was left out of the team for last Saturday's match against West Brom with a dead leg suffered in training, but Martinez said that he will be available to return to Everton's Europa League lineup on Thursday.

Martinez revealed that Tony Hibbert is available for selection against Wolfsburg. The defender has not appeared for Everton since February, but could be a valuable addition to give Seamus Coleman rest as the Toffees begin a stretch of four games in nine days.

Everton fans have been waiting for the return of both Arouna Kone and Bryan Oviedo, but that wait will continue. Martinez said that both played with the Under-21 team on Sunday, but are not yet ready for the first team.
