Reports have been swirling all morning that Everton are trying to bring Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverely to Goodison Park on a season long loan. The Liverpool Echo reported that news this morning, but now it appears that Queen Park Rangers are getting involved as well in the chase for Cleverley.
Harry Redknapp has been busy so far on Monday having reportedly gotten Liverpool to agree to a deal for midfielder Fabio Borini. The traditional big spender is desperate to bulk up his squad as they look to avoid dropping back to the Championship just like they did at the end of the 2012/13 season.
QPR will likely have the money that United want for Cleverley and the big question is whether or not Everton have enough cash. Hence the loan talk as Martinez appears to be trying to pull off another of his deadline day loan deals that worked so well for the club last season.
At this point though, there are just rumors surrounding Cleverley, but all that could change over the next six hours.
