Everton consider move for Celta Vigo winger Nolito

The Liverpool Echo is reporting that Everton could make a move for Celta Vigo winger Nolito.

Roberto Martinez is said to have been a long-term admirer of the winger for some time and could move to secure his signatures following a reported breakdown in talks with Chelsea over Christian Atsu.

The newspaper claims Martinez sent scouts over to Carrow Road to closely monitor the 27-year old during Celta's 2-2 draw against Norwich a few days ago. He is expected to line up against the Blues in their pre-season friendly at Prenton Park tonight.

27-year old Nolito scored 14 goals in 35 appearances for Celta last year, finishing as their top goalscorer to help the club to finish 9^th in La Liga. He has previously spent time at Barcelona B and Benfica before joining Celta last summer.
