The Liverpool Echo is reporting that Everton could make a move for Celta Vigo winger Nolito.
Roberto Martinez is said to have been a long-term admirer of the winger for some time and could move to secure his signatures following a reported breakdown in talks with Chelsea over Christian Atsu.
The newspaper claims Martinez sent scouts over to Carrow Road to closely monitor the 27-year old during Celta's 2-2 draw against Norwich a few days ago. He is expected to line up against the Blues in their pre-season friendly at Prenton Park tonight.
27-year old Nolito scored 14 goals in 35 appearances for Celta last year, finishing as their top goalscorer to help the club to finish 9th in La Liga. He has previously spent time at Barcelona B and Benfica before joining Celta last summer.
