Tyias Browning has become the latest youngster to sign a new contract with Everton.
The 20-year-old, who can play right back or centre half, has been at the club since the age of 10 and has now committed his future to the Toffees until the end of the 2016/2017 season.
After moving through the age groups, winning the under-18s title in 2011, Browning was named the club's under-21 captain last season.
His impressive performances for the young blues last campaign saw him awarded under-21 Player of the Year at the end of season awards in May.
After earning a place on the bench towards the tail end of season Browning is targeting a senior debut in the coming months.
He said:
"I'm absolutely delighted to sign. I’ve been here since I was a kid and this new deal shows the faith that the manager and staff have in me.
"I've loved being around the first team. I've learnt so much and I'm ready to kick on when called upon."
