Everton welcomes Arsenal to Goodison Park today for the home opener. After a disappointing draw against Leicester City the Toffees will be looking to start the season with a win against one of the big 4 clubs. Everyone remembers last years thrashing of Arsenal in April, and hopefully Roberto Martinez is able to pull out a few tricks once again.
Romelu Lukaku should play, rumors that the Belgian had suffered a training ground injury were debunked on Thursday, and it will be interesting to see if Kevin MIrallas gets more than a token run out as he regains fitness.
In the UK you can watch this one on Sky Sports 1 while the US fans will get to see Everton on NBC proper for the first time this year.
We'll have lineups when they become available, but join us in the comments to discuss the runup to the match as well as all the action as wee root on the Toffees.
