The Daily Star Sunday is reporting that Everton are looking to sign German World Cup winner Kristoph Kramer.
The 23-year-old defensive midfielder currently plays for Bayer 04 Leverkusen (he spent last season on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach) in his native Germany, where the side compete in the Bundesliga.
Kramer made 33 appearances for Gladbach last season and scored three goals in a successful season, which saw him picked by Joachim Löw for their eventual World Cup triumph in Brazil.
He made his competitive start against Argentina in the final on Sunday, replacing Sami Khedira when he was injured in the pre-game warm up but was eventually replaced by André Schürrle after a head injury. The midfielder has played five games for the national side following his move from Bayer Leverkusen.
