Everton face Bolasie battle

Everton are reportedly facing a battle for Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie.

The former Barnet winger has been linked with a host of clubs as he is in the final year of his contract, with a fee of around £3m being touted.

Everton have been heavily linked with a move for the winger as Martinez looks to build his squad for the forthcoming Europa League campaign, and replace Gerard Deulofeu, who has returned to Barcelona after his loan spell.

25-year-old Bolasie earned rave reviews towards the end of last season with some dynamic performances for Tony Pulis' side, with a memorable performance against Liverpool standing out.

However, with any move likely to involve such a small fee, a few clubs have looked to steal a march for his signature, with Newcastle reportedly set to have a £2m offer turned down.
