Everton extend Goodison Granites scheme

A second chance to personalise a piece of Goodison

Everton fans will get a second chance to purchase a personalised 'Goodison Granite' after the club revealed they were extending the scheme.

The original project allowed fans to purchase a brick complete with personalised plaque which formed a new entrance to Goodison Park adjacent to the Dixie Dean statue.

It proved hugely popular with the fans, selling out in a matter of days, so the club have decided to put more on sale.

The new plaques will be on Goodison Road, near to the entrance to the Park End fanzone and will go on sale on the official website from next Monday.

The Everton Fans' Forum worked with the club to get the scheme off the ground and chairman Tony Bott said:

"We always expected the Goodison Granites to be popular with Evertonians, so we’re really pleased to be able to extend the scheme and allow more Blues the chance to have a permanent legacy at Goodison Park. It just shows how important it is to fans to be part of the fabric of the Club and the stadium."
