According to reports, Everton are set to offer €13m for Torino winger Alessio Cerci.
Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio posted a story on his official website this afternoons stating that Everton are ready to move for the Italian, with a deal set to be offered to Torino sporting director Petrachi "in the coming hours".
Cerci has been heavily linked with a switch away from Il Toro this summer, with Roma and Milan two other Italian sides said to be interested in his services. His fellow striker Ciro Immobile has of course just left for Borussia Dortmund.
He scored 13 goals in 36 appearances for Torino last season, but was often overshadowed by the breakout season of his partner Immobile. He was named in Italy's final 23-man squad for the World Cup this summer.
Naturally left footed and quick, he plays mainly as right-winger but is equally adept on the left and last season often featured as a second striker.
However, the report suggests that Torino will quickly reject the offer as they deem €13m as too low, with the player also not keen on a switch to Goodison Park as he wants to be at a Champions League club.
