Everton are reportedly looking to offer Stéphane Mbia another chance at Premier League football.
The Daily Star is reporting that manager Roberto Martinez may offer the QPR midfielder, whose contract runs out this summer, a one-year deal.
The Spaniard has identified Mbia as a potential replacement for Gareth Barry, who is yet to agree terms over a permanent switch to Goodison Park. The fact he could get his man on a free is likely to be a big selling point also.
Following QPR's relegation from the Premier League in 2013, Mbia moved on loan to Sevilla and impressed in their eventual Europa League success. The Spaniards are keen on a permanent deal for the Cameroon midfielder, with Liverpool also one of the sides reportedly interested.
However, with Mbia currently on World Cup duty with Cameroon any potential deal may have to wait till after the summer.
