Everton desperately needs 3 points as they take on West Ham in a bid to stay in contention for Europe. The Toffees have had a bit of a dry spell recently, and this fixture provides the perfect time to jump start an anemic offense.
Phil Jagielka will be missing today, and most believe John Stones will be the man tapped to replace him. It will be a great opportunity for Stones to get a run out at his preferred center back position, and Evertonians will be watching his performance with a lot of interest.
Some late news from Roberto Martinez indicates we might see Romelu Lukaku make his return to the squad after missing four EPL matches due to injury, but it would be a real surprise to see him start.
Oh and would it be too much for Ross Barkley to return to form? I'm not trying to ask for a league title or anything.
