David Moyes and his United side were due to return to Goodison Park for the first time on April 19 but it has now been pushed back 24 hours.
The game will now kick off at 4:10pm UK time on April 20 in what will surely be one of the most eagerly awaited home matches of the season.
The return of Moyes aside it could also be a key encounter in the race for Europe, with United currently level on points with Everton after last weekend's results.
The home game with title challengers Arsenal has also been switched from a 3pm kick off on Saturday April 5 to a 1:30pm kick off on April 6.
With the game now on TV in will be interesting to see how many tickets the Arsenal fans will be allowed after the recent FA Cup row, Everton may be tempted to slash their allocation in response.
And finally, just to prove once more that the TV schedulers don't give a toss about the supporters, the longest away trip of the season has also been moved.
The trip to St Mary's to play Southampton on April 26 is now a 12:45pm kick off rather than 3pm, meaning Blues will once again have an early start in order to make it to the South Coast in time.
