After a disappointing loss at midweek, Everton will look to rebound this afternoon against Aston Villa.Just like before, 3 points are crucial in this one. Even though Everton is only 4 points off of 4th, it would be hard to justify dropping even further behind Liverpool.
The two big surprises are the return of Seamus Coleman and Sylvian Distin to the team sheet. After the debacle in defense against Liverpool, Distin's return to the starting lineup will be welcome. Coleman is on the bench, but I bet he makes a late substitute appearance.
Lineups are below, and join us in the comments to talk about this one. It could be every bit as fun as the last time out against Villa. Maybe even a Baines free kick or two.
Everton XI: Howard, Baines, Jagielka, McGeady, Mirallas, Distin, McCarthy, Barry, Barkley, Osman, Stones.
Everton Bench: Joel, Hibbert, Naismith, Pienaar, Coleman, Vellios, Garbut
Villa XI: Guzan, Bacuna, Vlaar, Clark, Baker, Bertrand, Westwood, Delph, Weimann, Benteke, Holt
Villa Subs: Steer, El Ahmadi, Sylla, Helenius, Albrighton, Tonev, Lowton
