Everton vs Queens Park Rangers: Live Gamethread

Seriously, three points or we might as well be done for the season.

All the hallmarks are there. A team out of form. No wins on their travels this season. Two goals scored in seven away games. Top striker not playing today. If there's ever any circumstances that can be described as 'an Everton moment', it'll be tonight.

Queens Park Rangers come into tonight's feature game at Goodison Park down in the relegation zone, with Harry Redknapp leading his side (questionably). Everton meanwhile have spent more time in the bottom half of the table than the top, and desperately need three points to keep in touch with the teams currently occupying the European spots.

Unfortunate injuries and dodgy managing have been Everton's plight the last few games, with just one win in their last six Premier League games. They've also been miserable after playing Europa League games, with one win, one draw and three losses after five Thursday games. The Toffees played this last Thursday as well, but having successfully won their group well before this week, Roberto Martinez was able to rest the majority of his players and play an experimental squad. It remains to be seen if this will debunk the 'tiredness' myth.

Starting lineups will be here as soon as they are out -

Everton XI - Howard, Baines, Distin, Jagielka (c), Coleman, Besic, Barkley, Mirallas, Naismith, McGeady, Lukaku.

Everton subs - Joel, Eto'o, Kone, Pienaar, Stones, Garbutt, Alcaraz.

QPR XI - Green, Yeung, Dunne, Onuoha, Isla, Phillips, Barton (c), Fer, Mutch, Hoilett, Vargas.

QPR subs - McCarthy, Ferdinand, Hill, Wright-Phillips, Kranjcar, Henry, Zamora.
