Everton may be joining Arsenal and Inter Milan in the race to sign Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marcelo Brozovic this winter. The 22 year old who played for the Croatia's National Team in this summer's World Cup, has several suitors across Europe and is thought to be available for an estimated £6 million.
Brozovic is listed as an attacking or central midfielder and this signing could be an excellent way to sure up the depth in the middle. Leon Osman isn't getting any younger, Ross Barkley is the only real attacking midfiedler on the roster and he may even get moved back to central midfield as his career moves forward.
Dinamo Zagreb was competing in the Europa League this season in Group D. Brozovic ended the group stages with one goal and two assists despite his club not making the knock-out round. Additionally, he completed 83% of his passes in those Europa League competitions.
So Everton fans, what do you think? Should Everton chase after the young midfiedler? Or do you have another player in mind. Have your say in the comment section.
