Everton linked with Aston Villa's Delph again

Everton could make a move for the midfielder on a free transfer next summer.

Everton are once more being linked with Aston Villa and England midfielder Fabian Delph.

The midfielder is yet to commit his future to the West Midlands club, with the Telegraph reporting that he snubbed the opportunity to pen fresh terms with Villa.

That deal would have tied him down for four years under a new £50,000-a-year contract, but his rebuke of the offer has purportedly alerted a trio of Premier League clubs into tailing him.

Those three clubs are Everton, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, who would be attracted to the idea of bringing in the all-action midfielder, as he would be available on a free transfer in the summer.

Reports suggest that Delph is willing to see out his current deal until the summer and then look for a club playing European football next season.  It is that need to play European football, which is the stated reason for him to seek a move elsewhere.

We've already discussed a move for Delph back in September, but what would you make of a move for the midfielder? Get your votes and comments in below.
