A number of sources are claiming that Everton could make a January move for Arsenal winger Joel Campbell.
The Costa Rica international has had limited game time this season after an impressive World Cup in Brazil, and may be looking to leave in order to get first team football.
The 22 year old has spent the last three seasons on loan at various European clubs as he sought a work permit, with a stint at Olympiacos last year proving highly fruitful to his development.
He returned to Arsenal this season but has found the competition for places limiting his game time. That competition has left him frustrated with life at the Emirates and he is said to be considering a move away to further his career.
That has prompted interest from Everton, and another of other clubs, with Roberto Martinez said to considering a £7m to test Arsenal's resolve. The transfer would fit in with the Spaniard's policy of signing young and technically able players that the club can develop.
Having said that, the youngster would find similar competition for places at Everton with the likes of Aiden McGeady and Kevn Mirallas both vying for a place on the right wing.
