The yellow ticker is constantly on, Sky Sources are working overdrive and Jim White is ready to explode - yes it's transfer deadline day.
Last summer's deadline was a successful one for Everton, with Romelu Lukaku, James McCarthy and Gareth Barry signing on while Victor Anichebe left for West Brom.
This time round Everton have already signed Aiden McGeady and loaned Lacina Traore during the window, while Nikica Jelavic left for Hull.
But what about deadline day?
Well a lot rests on Jonny Heitinga. He has already snubbed West Ham this month and has reportedly turned down a deal with Galatasaray.
His sky-high wages seem to be an issue, with Roberto Martinez confirming that any incomings are dependent on getting the Dutchman off the wage bill.
Not that there isn't funds available, It is believed that Martinez is preferring to keep what cash reserves he has for the summer window, where it is perceived you can get better value.
Other tenuous links include former Toffees Jack Rodwell and Joleon Lescott, though they appear very unlikely at this stage.
