Everton has now sent one player away from Goodison as Francisco Junior has made a loan move to Dutch club Vitesse. The Portuguese youngster has made the move to the club for the entire 2013/2014 season as he looks to secure some first team football to improve his prospects under Roberto Martinez.
Despite moving to Everton in January 2012, Junior has only made one appearance for Everton, a League Cup loss to Leeds United away to Elland Road last season.
With time fast approaching for Junior to contribute or leave the club, this loan spell will be critical for him. If he impresses this season it is possible he could develop into a box to box midfielder for Everton,or be sold for a nice sum, something to look forward to considering he signed on a Bosman with the club.
