Everton look to Thomas Hitzlsperger for midfield reinforcement | The Guardian
I like it if it happens. He's definitely declined from his peak, but he's 30 so he can still have a resurgence. This is all in addition to what would be a free transfer. It's a pretty good move for a proven international with tons of experience and he would mainly be there for cover in case of injuries.
David Moyes eyes Europe for Everton | Mail Online
Nothing special in this article, though it does go in depth about Mirallas and what he brings to the squad. What I found especially interesting was that out of his 15 shots this season, 70% have been on target. I know this is a small sample size but that's pretty impressive. Especially since players like Osman and Pienaar seem to almost always be off target with their shots. A lot of his shots have been tame, but we need a guy that's not afraid to shoot and whose shots are actually on target.
