£30 raids for Fellaini and old goalkeeper links aside, Everton are taking on Newcastle tonight for a chance to be joint second with Manchester United.
I know! Weird!
Yes, I know its super early, but its also super awesome! I'm sure no one expected us to be anything but awful to start off the season, but this start has been different (at least for now).
Moyes still has a tendency to tactically play down to opponents. Newcastle isn't traditionally an inferior opponent but today's patch up group of defenders should be easier to exploit than usual. What does that mean for Everton?
Probably one goal and a draw.
But really, I seriously expect the crowd to make a difference today. If we do win, it will probably be due to the raucous crowd. Cabaye needs to be booed into oblivion today!
Goodison needs to be a fort this season!
