Contract Negotiations between Marouane Fellaini and the club (The following fictional account is not meant to be funny. It is what I truly think is going on at the club.)
Club: uhhhh, yeah, you want to sign a new contract now? Cause we really need you.
Fellaini: How much you willing to pay? Cause I know you have no money/
Club: £10 an hour?
Fellaini: What?
Club: OK, you run a hard bargain, £15/hour.
Fellaini: C'est une blague, oui?
Club (yelling): I don't think he understands us, We need a translator NOW!
Fellaini: Dunette, I guess I'm going to Chelsea.
Everton now try to play it off as a victory because we didn't have to pay huge wages and that saves us money. Meanwhile, we start playing with 10 players on the pitch.
Fin.
This is a perfect time to get our second victory. Wigan Athletic are not a good side. They just aren't. These are the types of matches that Everton really need to win, that we typically draw or lose. Wigan really have trouble scoring, so as long as someone can score we should be fine.
If Jagielka commits another mistake and concedes a goal, Moyes really needs to start thinking about benching him. We can not (and should not) concede any goals in this match. This match could easily be a 0-0 draw but it could also turn into a 3-1 type of match too (hopefully with us scoring three goals.
The starters are unchanged from the Villa match.
Starting XI: Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Distin, Jags, Fellaini, Rodwell, Osman, Bily, Coleman, Cahill
