It was a pretty boring weekend for Everton, no games, no new players, and no players sold. Of course now everyones attention turns to the QPR match this Saturday.

In case you missed it, the first episode of our podcast is up on the site, here is the link in case you missed it.

Apparently we are also in the hunt for Spaniard Pedro Leon along with Aston Villa and Fulham. I really wonder what the requirement is for being able to publish a rumor. The asking price is 9 million pounds, and we don't even have 1 million to buy anyone. No truth to this but it is always funny to read such crazy rumors.

Another day and another injury for Everton. Although Arteta appears to be returning to full fitness, Gueye is now out for a few months according to this report. Gueye has his foot in a cast.

Adding to the bad news, David Moyes has lost one of his best scouts to Chelsea over the weekend. Mick Docherty may be best known for finding Seamus Coleman, and any losses in the scouting department are big blows to Everton. Hopefully a replacement of similar quality will be found soon.

Here is what may be one of the more plausible transfer rumors of the season. Vincente would be a free transfer so his wage demands would be the only real stumbling block if interest is genuine. Although injury prone we need some depth out wide, and he could fill a spot for a season.
