*or rumors depending on your location!
With the Yak and now Steven Pienaar departing the club David Moyes has at last got some funds to play with. It isn't a great deal but it has at least given him the ability to bring some players in and freshen up the squad. There are all sorts of stories flying around the internet, here is a few of the ones I think may have some credibility:
Chris Eagles
The former Man United winger has been linked with a £1.5million move to Goodison in recent weeks after initially being mentioned last summer. However, the appointment of Eddie Howe at Burnley has made such a move unlikely, with the former Bournemouth boss keen to assess his whole squad before letting anyone go.

The former Pompey winger, now at Inter Milan, has been linked with a loan move to Goodison after failing to hold down a first-team place at the San Siro. This would represent a bit of a coup if Moyes can pull this one off, I was impressed with him during his time at Pompey and would be a more than competent replacement for Pienaar.

Perhaps one for the future, but Sporting Lisbon defender has been linked with a move to Everton. The 17-year-old Englishman has spent his entire footballing career in Portugal after his parents moved out there a few year ago. The plan was to continue his footballing education with Sporting but rumours are abound tht Moyes is keen to tie up a deal for the youngster - another Seamus Coleman style signing perhaps?

The Anderlect winger is being also touted as a possible Steven Pienaar replacement but given our poverty ridden state it would be easy for the Belgian club to price us out of a move for the player, who interested Newcastle before they swooped for Hatem ben Arfa.

The former Liverpool winger has a much publicised £500k release clause in his contract and we have been persistently linked with a move for the Barnsley man. However, it now appears Wolves have moved ahead in the race to sign the 22-year-old.

And news concerning some current players:
James Vaughan is set to make a loan move to Celtic for the rest of the season with the Scottish club paying a £250,000 loan fee that Moyes could hopefully add to his still pitifully small transfer kitty.

Victor Anichebe has put speculation of a move firmly to bed by reportedly agreeing a new four year deal. A few weeks ago rumours spread that the forward had rejected a new £30,000 a week deal but he later came out to deny those stories and re-affirmed his desire to stay at the club. The news is at least a small boost given all the transfers we have seen this transfer window have been outgoing ones.
