Everton has hit on a major coup after they secured the services of Barcelona youngster Gerard Deulofeu on loan. The 19 year old is considered to be one of the best youngsters in the world, and now he will showcase his talents at the School of Science.
Most of Europe's top clubs were thought to be in the race for the youngsters signature, but Martinez's presence at Everton is thought to have secured his signature. The Catalan giants were put at ease by Martinez. It is their belief that he will not hinder Deulofeu's development for the Barca system.
Deulofeu just signed a contract extension with Barcelona this year, but after a season playing with the B team where he scored 18 goals in 33 matches, it appears he is ready to take the next step towards regularly featuring for Barcelona.
